Sam Heather Gordon

Sam Heather Gordon (she/her) is a multidisciplinary theatre artist originally from Southern California, now based in New York City. Sam’s art often uses whimsy and humor to illuminate complex stories about the lesbian experience and LGBTQ+ issues. She is fascinated by stories that have aspects of magical realism and campy, colorful worlds. Sam is a recent graduate of Pace University's Directing program where she studied ensemble and devised theatre. Additionally, Sam is a co-founder of Lesbian Artist Collective: a free space for NYC lesbian artists to collaborate (@lesbianartistcollective on Instagram). Most recently, she completed a self-producing residency at the Players Theatre with the world premiere of her new play, The Divine Dating Game.

Sam is a multifaceted artist enthusiastic about telling stories through playwriting, directing, costume design, and props design.
